Bring your Pinterest pins
Years of pinning, gathered somewhere quiet. No ads, no algorithm, just what you chose.
How it works
- Add the Moodshelf extension to Chrome and sign in to Moodshelf.
- Sign in to pinterest.com in the same browser.
- In Moodshelf, open Add, then Import, then Pinterest.
- Your saved pins come over with their images.
How to get your pins out of Pinterest
Pinterest's privacy settings offer a copy of your data by email, but it is built for data requests, not for moving boards, and working with it is slow.
Moodshelf's extension reads your saved pins directly in your own signed-in browser and brings each one over with its image. Once a pin is on your shelf, its image is kept safe, so it survives even if the original disappears.
Questions
Does Moodshelf need my Pinterest password?
No. The extension reads your pins in your own browser, where you are already signed in. Your credentials never touch Moodshelf.
I am thinking of leaving Pinterest. Should I import first?
Yes. Bring your pins over before closing the account, and their images stay with you afterwards.
What comes over?
Your saved pins with their images.
Do my boards come over?
Pins arrive individually, without their board structure. Once they are on your shelf, you can group them into shelves however you like.
How many pins can I bring on the free plan?
The free shelf holds 500 items. If an import would go past that, Moodshelf asks you first.
Which browsers work?
The extension runs on Chrome for now.
