Bring your Are.na channels
Blocks and channels, joined with everything else you keep.
How it works
- In Moodshelf, open Add, then Import, then Are.na.
- Paste the links of the channels you want to bring, one per line.
- The blocks in each channel come over to your shelf.
How the Are.na import works
Copy the address of any channel you want from are.na, the link that looks like are.na/your-name/channel-name, and paste it into the import. You can paste several at once, one per line.
Moodshelf reads the channel and brings its blocks over. Nothing changes on Are.na itself, your channels stay exactly as they are.
Questions
Does importing change anything on Are.na?
No. The import only reads. Your channels and blocks stay untouched.
What comes over?
The blocks in the channels you pasted, with their images and links.
Can I bring more channels later?
Yes. Run the import again with new channel links any time.
How many blocks can I bring on the free plan?
The free shelf holds 500 items. If an import would go past that, Moodshelf asks you first.
Do I need the browser extension?
Not for Are.na. The import works right in the app.
