Bring your Instapaper articles
The read-later list you have been meaning to get back to. Now somewhere it can breathe.
How it works
- On instapaper.com, open Settings and find the Export section.
- Download the CSV file.
- In Moodshelf, open Add, then Import, then Instapaper, and drop the file in.
- Your articles come in and stay readable on your shelf.
How to export from Instapaper
Sign in on instapaper.com and open Settings. Scroll to the Export section and choose the CSV download. The file lists every article you have saved.
Upload that file in Moodshelf and each article is fetched fresh, so it arrives with its title, text, and image rather than just a bare link.
Questions
Do my articles stay readable?
Yes. Moodshelf keeps the page text and images with each save, so they outlive the original link.
Do my Instapaper folders come over?
The file carries them, and what lands on your shelf is the articles themselves. You can group them into shelves once they are in.
How many articles can I bring on the free plan?
The free shelf holds 500 items. If an import would go past that, Moodshelf asks you first.
Do I need the browser extension?
Not for Instapaper. The file upload works right in the app.
